the culture is one of pointing fingers and passing the buck. there'a s lack of process and very little vision, direction, or information flow from senior management. morale is low because there's a culture of distrust and people are not empowered to make changes to improve the company, though the opportunities to do so are bountiful.

- There's no management layer between senior leadership and the individual contributors. For example, we have VPs and a CTO, but there's no managers between then and the resources doing the work. The leaders don't have the time and don't communicate progress, so it's a major issue to keep work moving. - Micromanagement is king here! Nothing gets done here without multiple managers involved and multiple meetings. - "It's not my job" or "I've done my part" are phrases you hear a lot...no team mentality or everyone working together to keep customers happy. - Compensation is average, no bonuses, and average benefits. - Certona really is against working from home partly or flex hours.
