It's been a year and a half since this review was posted. I am happy to say that we took it seriously and made an investment in training, recently hiring a Director of Learning and Development. Pros

Chadwell Supply is a great place to work for many reasons which makes it difficult to leave. The environment is very comfortable. More than likely you are not just a number. The dress code is relaxed which makes it very nice. If you are good at your job you don't have much to worry about except for advancement. There is only so far you can go with this company.

Cons

If you want to advance you are in the wrong company. I am one that likes to grow within a company but there is only so far you can go until you hit a wall and can't go any further, it's hard for a family ran business to let outsiders in for higher up positions unless you started with the company from day one. Operations department in this company is way to small for the size of company it is today. PTO is horrible, everything is combined into one, sick time, personal time and vacation time. Hopefully you don't get sick and have a vacation planned all in the same year. This definitely is something that is a negative in this company. Benefits are also not very impressive but as started before the environment of the company makes it hard to want to leave.

Thank you for your review and comments! You are right about the PTO policy needing to change. I wrote our original policy and it wasn't very good. We are working on a new policy as part of our 2017 Employee Handbook which should be much better. We hope that our continued expansion efforts will increase the amount of promotion opportunities in the company, and we are always on the lookout to help star performers reach their career goals.
