Pros

Simple work, management really cares about their jobs, little corporate involvement, great pay, very comfortable job

Cons

Bad parts from suppliers and a lot of quality control interaction with production so we missed a lot of production goals, machines not failproofed from operator error and since we rotated operators alot there was a lot of downtime, no AC in factory, a lot of operators didn't speak English, heavy workload, union doesn't allow removal of non-productive workers

Pros

You'll meet some nice people, but just because you are all struggling together

Cons

Company has no values and treat their employees worse than any company I have ever seen. Will do mass layoffs or everyone will quit every 2-3 years, every project is delayed or never meets to completion, empty promises, no raises, no promotions, travel consistently with only having a max of 2 weeks off PTO no sick days, there is also a huge power superiority complex among the executives compared to other salary workers. If you get laid off before you quit, there is no severance pay, zero positive culture definitely dont recommend you will be miserable. It's really and unfixable company until they have a new CEO and excutive leadership. Customer relationships are very poor and consistently losing business. They recently switched from hybrid to full time on site and cleared out alot of positions. Don't be fooled by the paycheck, no amount of money is enough for how much you actually have to do in your position.
