Most of the general population are good people.

Cons

There has been an immense amount of turnover (CFO, CRO, CMO, CTO and CIO have all left) due to the CEO. He is a basket case and has a god complex - the only way to succeed at this company is to cow tow to his unqualified whims. He keeps those around him that do whatever he says vs qualifications, made evident by the insane leaps he has made putting people in roles with zero experience. Annoyed that people like this are not outed by Blackstone who touts how rigorous its CEO program is. There were good, kind, well intentioned people in the finance department, but not worth it given the terrible nature of the exec team that remains who does nothing but follow the CEOs awful whims.

A management that is too scared to face challenges. Chickens out at the thought of a challenge. Management doesn't like changes and prevents new development, growth and opportunities because they are old timers and poor in technology and knowledge. Not a good place for young engineers looking to learn and grow their careers.

Sr. Managers abuse their direct reports. It creates a toxic work environment, harms mental health, and reduces productivity. Frequent gaslighting, yelling and finger-pointing during internal meetings.
