Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Work/life balance is better than most. Benefits are good and pay is mostly industry standard.

Cons

Most co-workers and peers are wonderful, but management, or more specifically the management culture contributes to what is largely a toxic environment. Your work will be quadrupled for same pay; also, I experienced consistently that management WILL not have your back when needed, and some in management can be borderline abusive and not held accountable. Also, beware that it is a trend in the company that a papertrail will be falsely imposed on you if they want to cut back on your job- and no matter how hard you try to prevent it they will terminate you. When I left, workers across the board were leaving their roles in droves to go elsewhere. Simply, a toxic work environment since the latest leadership took over. No one speaks up because they are fearful for their jobs. A corrupted and racist version of DEI abounds.

Pros

I absolutely love this job. The pay is fair. The hours can't be beat. Benefits are amazing.

Cons

Enrollment Representatives have to work one "late day" per week, but you choose the day. We have to work one Saturday every eight weeks (school session), but we choose the Saturday and have the option to work 1/2 day on Friday and 1/2 day on Saturday. Those are literally the only things close to "cons" I can come up with.
