Pros

I have meant some great people at Channelnet, pre and post Covid. A few nice clients

Cons

Very high turnover. A lot of the good talent left for better pay with better ran companies. The technology they use is very dated and often has issues. The core ideas at Channelnet are very dated and need to be brought up to 2022. Lack of communication often leads to things never getting done on time or properly. No boundaries with clients, so they can just suggest any stupid idea and Channelnet will go along with it and further decrease morale.

Pros

Rarely had to work late.

Cons

Everything else. The CEO is toxic to her employees. She talks down to them, calls them names, and expects the world in return. There's a reason why ChannelNet doesn't have an HR department - if they did, they'd have a lawsuit on their hands. She asks very personal questions, like your political views, and makes you feel uncomfortable. As far as the work went, I had a few things useful for my resume, but it was not worth almost 2 years of my time and career experience. I didn't have a mentor, I didn't feel challenged or supported, and there is absolutely no culture. They don't invest in or value their employees, and fail to show any appreciation. I also never had a review or a raise. I bent over backwards for them and was constantly nit-picked for minuscule things. I was also treated poorly when I ultimately resigned. My boss never even said goodbye to me. Please, do not subject yourself to this sort of negativity.

Pros

Free cake and snacks monthly. The lower level people are pretty cool to work with most of the time. My paycheck was never late (although not always accurate)

Cons

The upper level management and C level people are not nice or friendly. It you don’t fit their mold you will not make it there at all, they will use you and spit you out when they are done. They also don’t care if you are arrested after you work their, convicted or not most real companies won’t allow anyone who’s on trail for multiple felonies to stay employed, but at channelnet they don’t care and they’ll even have people cover for them to allow them to meet with lawyers and stuff. Be careful what you say because people will use it to stab you in the back, word of advice trust no one with anything. Also be prepared to work well over 40 hours and receive no overtime pay or flex time....also if you do have to work overnight and on call hours be prepared to be there during core hours as well because if your not they’ll dock your pay.
