Pros

I have been working with chargepoint from last 1 year. Here are some of the pros 1) Flexible working hours 2) Easily accessible management - you don't have to knock on doors, ask for appointment, higher management is easily approachable as far as engineering is concerned. 3) Small engineering team - as the engineering team size is small if you do some good work your work will be appreciated.

Cons

and the cons will be 1) I think this will be the case with most of the product companies. You won't get much opportunities to work with different technologies.

Pros

One of rare high tech company having in-house complete end-end product portfolio including one of industry best embedded products for networked EVSE, cloud software and mobile apps. Leadership places a heavy emphasis on employee growth across all divisions in embedded software, cloud software and mobile applications. The work is intellectually intense and challenging. The people that work/worked here are some of the best I've met in my professional career. People-oriented company. Heavy investment in employees and endless opportunities. ChargePoint hits the sweet spot between ‘startup culture’ and ‘big corporate culture with rapid growth across divisions. Open and flexible work culture.

Cons

Company fortunes dependent on EV industry which is still in fuzzy state. The growth of EV industry is still slow. Latest environmental issues related to global warming shall help industry. With rapid expansion, company should be very very careful and strict in its hiring process. There were some really bad/poor hiring in past and thankfully most of them are no more with ChargePoint. Some of them still love the company and shows their deep love in bad reviews.
