      Highest Atlanta public school salary: APS +1 year

      Cons

      No consequences. Make it hard for kids doing right to learn and very hard for teachers. Also provided little support as a teacher asking for help.

      Annual bonus after you've worked there a year; focus on staff wellness; school has the flexibility to pivot and make changes that traditional schools don't have; school leaders genuinely care about kids and the teachers

      Cons

      Not as flexible as most charters with certification. Although they will help pay for you to get it.
