Pros

Location:very nice area full of green and peace

Cons

There is no training. At first was the only Scientific Associate in my area.the rest of the team were technician. They refused to train be because I was a Scientific Associate.I have had very contradictive training on the Lims systems. Every so often I would get new instructions on the procedure which changed all the time.and no training on GMP. I was used to lift heavy boxes and got injured. The last 2 months a new supervisor was appointed and he was very bully . They put me on professional development plan. Then just collected 3 evidences of mistakes on GMP and told me my learning curve was not good enough and fired me.

Pros

Great for anyone trying to start out in the biomedical field. Give good on the job experience and pays fairly well for the industry.

Cons

Management is mostly people who moved up with time in, so their actual leadership abilities aren't refined enough for the level of professionalism they claim to have. Once you get past entry level, you can easily get stuck and unable to move in your position unless you move departments. But the cycle starts over and you eventually get stuck again. Accountability is an ongoing problem. You don't notice it for the first year, but it affects work culture and creates an environment where awesome performers are overworked and low performers are encouraged to stay low performing.
