The company lacks vision and the management is poor.

Pros

Great IT support and the benefits are fairly good. Many of the employees are very skilled and committed to doing the right thing.

Cons

Good old boy network is too powerful given their limited abilities, poor leadership, reactive rather than proactive. Corners are often cut that should not be cut.

Pros

Stable company for growth in most of the business units. Global manufacturing presence to help expand products and stability in most markets. Buys up the competition, good technology and quality of product, dedicated and satisfied customers.

Cons

Runs with big internal systems but too many non value added processes and people bring it down. Lacking cohesive effort between departments. Under compensated and under valued for all the hours that are required to be worked for most dedicated salary people. Long term vision in some areas is poor, bad business decisions are paid for by lay-offs and closings.

Pros

People take care of you during initial periods to make sure that all is set. All the necessary data was given to me on time so that my work wasn't interrupted any where. Also I was given the freedom to take few decisions on my own.

Cons

The compensation could have been much higher when compared to the work involved. The work was repetitive and the quantum of work was huge.
