Owners are great and they truly care about the culture and people.

Cons

Shane Bonner is the President of the Iron division. He lacks emotional intelligence and is running the Dura-Bar division into the ground. The team at Dura-Bar is good, hardworking people who want the company to succeed. Shane consistently makes decisions that demonstrate a lack of understanding of how the business makes money and what our customers value. I do not recommend joining the division because if he stays at the helm, it won't be around for much longer.

My time at Charter Wire was marked by consistent disappointment and frustration. The workplace environment was poorly managed, with pervasive oiliness and disorganization that made daily tasks challenging. Worse still was the complete lack of training provided to new employees, leaving us to navigate complex machinery and procedures without proper guidance. Combined with the utter disregard for maintenance and safety protocols, this created a dangerous work environment where accidents seemed inevitable. Communication from management was virtually non-existent, exacerbating the sense of confusion and neglect. In conclusion, Charter Wire's neglect of basic training, safety measures, and communication made it a place I would not recommend to anyone seeking a safe and supportive workplace.

-Some of the best pay in the area for maintenance - maintenence management and supervisors are all very approachable and will listen to you - the 5-2-2-5 schedule gives lots of days off makes vacations easy to plan - tuition reimbursement is an excellent opportunity to grow -CEO and other high level leadership are visible even at the lower levels and frequently walk around talking to employees
