Pros

Salary plus commission is above average, ability to get promoted within 1-2 years. The systems are top notch, great technology. Good medical / dental / retirement benefits. Many Branches allow you to possibly find work close to your home.

Cons

Feel like a number, not a person. Highest level of stress ever felt in my life. Managers like drill sergeants who will demote/fire you if you don't produce . Like a chop shop. Everyone is your competition and and those who cheat to get ahead are held up to the highest regards. Branch / Retail employees are looked down upon by the other JPmorgan employees, and for good reason. Doing whats right for the customer is not possible if we have to make unreal sales numbers. NOT WORTH THE STRESS !

Pros

large company , room to grow

Cons

Much to Corporate and dry, changes made are only (really) made to the benefit of the company which is to be expected but leave something for the little guy...
