Pros

Great name recognition. Big company.

Cons

Had to pay $124/mo for parking on top of gas prices. Incompetent management who knew less than you did half the time. You have 3 groups of people second guessing every move you make (your manager, the audit team, the service observe team). Your direct manager was pretty cool but the audit team doesnt know the basics and the normal workflow so they would say you messed up even when you didnt-- your manager could not reverse this many times. Upper management hired consultants who new even less but would make such drastic changes that utimately hurt your ability to make any money

Pros

Chase is a great company. It's always good to work for a large corporation in terms of the great benefits. Chase also has a very good commission structure for personal bankers compared to others.

Cons

management is VERY mirco management style, they implore pushy sales tactics. There is a poor quality of managers at the branch management level.... A lot of them come from retail environments that have nothing to do with banking at all. Many of them are not even licensed to sell the products that they bankers can. Many of them are professional bad managers and have never been on the sales floor and therefore do not know a THING about what their employees are experiencing and feeling.

Pros

Professionalism is paramount, responsibility is effectively delegated, and the company is run astonishingly well. Competency isn't valued, it's required; if you excel, you'll go places. The company makes a full-time job of making sure you're informed and able to be the best in the business, whatever your line of business it is. Compensation is fair. Leadership is fair. If you're a talented individual, you need look no further

Cons

You're being graded at everything you do, there is nothing that slips by management. Nothing at all. Be prepared to take total responsibility for every mistake you make. And be prepared to work very, very hard.
