Pros

good environment to work in low sales pressure (as of now) decent compensation and benefit

Cons

limited growth path for majority of people in the branch. Hard to obtain bonus at entry level. Significant upskill required to move to a different path outside of consumer banking unless you know people

Pros

You come across a lot of people. Benefits are okay. If you get a slow branch in a good area, it’s not so bad.

Cons

Poor salary for responsibilities, no commissions, not enough help (employees), lack of care for employees mental health and work/life balance.
