great company, just needs more structure
Pros
-considered for annual raises based on performance. -great starting pay -great benefits, plenty of pto, sick, and extended bereavement time -career mobility and continuous development programs. the company invests a lot of time and money into leadership training, provides opportunities to take online courses for coaching, stress management, etc. -senior leadership is available for mentoring. it's really cool to work at a company where you can email the director for a career coaching session and they make it a priority.
Cons
-your consideration for annual raises depends on how your manager appraises your performance. the rating scale is not consistent. what counts as "strong" for one person is someone else's "on track". -pto can be hard to get approved during peak vacation times -training is provided for career mobility however this means actual career mobility can be extremely competitive. when a title change is achieved there's no guarantee it will come with a pay increase.
