      People are Great - Management Communication Is Not

      Pros

      The people who work around you are incredible. All different stories and paths, but all want a fun, relaxing work day.

      Cons

      Management does not communicate well. Major decisions are made with little real explanation, pointless stories or podcast reference are made in place of any real explanation, and even months later they still have nothing to show for their major spending. Becoming more corporate, and not in a good way.

      Pros

      The compensation is competitive and in line with market rates. The company tries to encourage creativity and a relaxed atmosphere by allowing employees to dress casually to work.

      Cons

      While Chatham is very good at what it does, it is a very niche area in finance. If you looking for cross-training opportunities in the various areas of finance or just something more substantial or meaningful, this company is not for you. Also, if you care about a diverse work environment, know that Chatham is a predominantly white company. Location wise, it is located in the mushroom country of Chester county, about 45 miles from Philadelphia.
