Pros

The people at Checkpoint/Checkview are amazing. Many come from a military background since the emphasis of the company is on physical security for retail customers.

Cons

The company used to show its employees that it cared for them. Several turnovers in senior management later, and the atmosphere is one of subdued gloom. Several positions have been eliminated in a desperate cost-savings attempt. The remaining employees are overworked and very under-appreciated.

Pros

Salary was ok but not high enough for putting up with the terrible culture through the entire company.

Cons

Do not work here! Terrible team work, terrible decisions with little to no logic. Communication among small teams doesn't exist. Every project is a rush and no time to actually design or develop the products. I feel sorry for the customers because Checkpoint doesn't actually design anything new, they just put what they have, from the past 10 years and put it a new form factor.

Pros

The ability to tie Labeling Solutions with EAS/RFID systems. Compelling LOBs that compliment each other.

Cons

Senior leadership has delivered value to shareholders by reducing expenses over the last 2 years. Unfortunately, senior leadership seems unable to deliver innovation to market.
