As all businesses, they only care about the bottom line number. Consumption based model in a market that is deteriorating and surrounded around hiring. Hence secret layoffs that have been slowly impacting teams for over 4 months now. They just don't want it to hit the press. Time off is "flexible" but people scared to take advantage. Morale is awful across the org.

Employees are not rewarded by contribution but by popularity. No great tech leaders in the company.
