Poorly managed

Pros

Some managers and employees were nice and worked hard, relatively easy job.

Cons

Scheduling is terrible, with too many people on dead nights and not enough when it's busy, therefore difficult to make money. Don't get paid for hours worked anyway. Availability is not considered and requested days off are not given. Breaks are virtually non existent. Some managers are very unprofessional to downright rude, and wonder why they have such a high turn over rate. Will tell you to do one thing, and then get yelled at for doing it by someone else

Cons

Some not so nice people Some people wont help you even if you helped them in the past Money is okay, not great not bad so could be pro/con depending on persons' needs Strict policy on 'dead' food kept after work without compensation for overtime are not overly flexible on schedule

Scratch Cooking at its worst...

Pros

The buildings are usually nice and the customers come because the prices are very budget friendly and the portions are reasonable.

Cons

Extensive hours...often 55 hours or more...time off requests are not honored. Servers can only work 3 tables at once, false waits are very common because meeting labor budget controls everything so more often than not the restaurant is understaffed. The systems, techniques and policies probably worked 50 years ago when the restaurant chain began...but they do not work today.
