Pros

The mission sounds great expect it’s not real. The recruiting team is awesome except they lie through omission. The culture is amazing if were not so toxic.

Cons

This place has 90 percent turn over. (This is not an exaggeration.) There is no work life balance. All employees are over worked and underpaid; seriously. Fear is a management style at ChenMed. Half the staff is on a performance plan. Fact: Over 40 Detroit employees were terminated. Most had less than a year with the company. Fact: Most center directors have been with the company less than a year because they keep walking out.

Pros

Before a lot of new fake faces started to manage the company, was one of the best places in Miami to develop your software development career with a bunch of good ideas.

Cons

Fake management full of lies that doesn't care about their employees, imagine what can be doing with the "minor populations" patients.

Pros

Helping Seniors in spite of corporate restrictions and unethical mandates Staff who really care and do their best to provide the best care to our Seniors. Great teams at the center site level.

Cons

1. Lack of competent doctors, most are new graduates who are being taught the "business of healthcare" the ChenMed way, which means money above patient need. Approval for high expense items are frowned upon and doctors are incentivized to keep the money in the pocket of the company. 2. Although the company claims to be "faith-based" their standards of Christianity fall short and I doubt Jesus would be happy with how they manage their centers and the patients who are caught in this "value-based" model which should be called "save the company, based care" 3. Dishonest leaders continue to be rewarded, supported and promoted while those who are ethical are seen as "trouble makers" and sidelined and or fired. 4. Bullying and toxic leadership at a regional level in Florida is ignored, while Directors and their staff are forced to meet insurance metrics that are both unethical and Medicare non compliant. 5. Directors work 50+ hours a week to support staff and there is no recognition from Regional or Corporate leaders. Only more demands. 6. Reporting compliance issues will only lead to write ups and false terminations, leaders (amongst each other) are encouraged NOT to report anything for fear of retaliation. Its the culture.
