Pros

Workers care for each other. Different parts of ChenMed come together to fix problems affecting the organization, creating a feeling of "we are in this together." team members and management usually work toward the same goals, there are a lot though. leadership does a good job of communicating goals to employees who report to them. employees know why we are here, thanks to the vision and mission. they allow employees to use them as guides for what we do day to day the salary, it is above average. culture is important, the company actively works to give employees the opportunity to do more than just their everyday job. employees had the chance to take half a day and give back to their communities through volunteer opportunities. the company cares about feedback. employees can give it through surveys, one-on-one meetings, town halls, and team discussions. most of the directors and high-level executives have an open-door policy.

Cons

the company does not hire enough staff or make priorities to complete all the work that the company wants done. remote work policy is not applied equally to employees. employees hired outside of south florida can work remote everyday, employees who are in south florida are required to come to the office three times a week. employees wear many hats and take on multiple roles. since teams are understaffed, team members do roles a lot outside of their job to get all of the work done. the roles and responsibilities across employees are unclear and has been for awhile.
