Pros

Business model, some talents, open space environment. Oportunity for improvement of the main application. Java shop with some other stacks

Cons

Big stress and drama present. Frequent shifts, shuffling, changes, no one knows who drives it and where it is driven. Teams are working on same features which creates frequent fights among them. No high level understanding of technology basics, strategy and ability to connect well sounding phrases to the reality.

Thank you for your honest assessment of our company and bringing to light your concerns with the operation of our IT department. We take your feedback seriously, and – as you are likely aware – have been working to improve our entire organization, including the IT department. Our business relies on technology that allows our great doctors to put their patients first. That’s why we’ve just hired a new Business Applications Manager and a Director of IT PMO. Under their leadership we’ve already begun making great progress against some of the opportunities you referenced.

Pros

1 hour lunch. Positive patient relationships.

Cons

This organization does not practice what they preach. They do not care about the patients. They care about liability and costs. They care about the metrics not the V.I.P healthcare they claim to provide. They treat their employees horribly unless they are related or in "cliques" with management. Management, top & middle, are just as horrible. Training is horrible. Basically they will have a senior person (maybe not) show you what is necessary, only the basics. The rest is up to you to figure it out as you go along. Every office does almost everything differently. There are many people who come and go with this company because they cannot commit to lying to the patients and being silent about continued injustices. The owners of this company should be ashamed of themselves. As well as the managers who obliviously play along with the charades. Their bonus structure is horrible. This company clearly have people organizing its structure who are not cognizant of exactly how the job should be performed. The expectations are unrealistic and only attainable if some steps are skipped because every part of every process in every department of this company, has entirely too many unnecessary steps required. Change can be expected in many aspects of a company, but things change here too often. No one can definitively answer questions without being confused because no one knows when something changed.

Pros

Best reasons to work for Jencare: You'll learn ibonix from your fellow co-workers. You'll learn how not to dress for a professional setting. You'll understand what not to do from corporate. If you get into a good office you'll actually bond with some of your co-workers. You'll learn how to watch your back from management. You'll learn to not trust what people say and understand that the patients actually are victims in the same situation. You will see what turnover in a job really is... you'll learn new hair styles. You'll get fed with all the pot lucks and lunches they have. You will learn that most of the management do not have the experience in healthcare so whoever wants to get into healthcare... GO DREAM AND REACH FOR IT! You will learn that almost everyone in the offices are related to one another. You will actually work with some great doctors who are loyal to their patients; but, are burned out. They work on a time clock that's ticking as if they are in a hamster's wheel that's spinning and trying to catch the treat (knowingly that they won't ever get it). You will see people with no clinical experience try to take over a person's job that has clinical experience. Pros: the actual thought behind the business... execution definitely not implemented.

Cons

Incompetent hierarchy, not all; but, most. Losing staff that are actually great and passionate about their job as well as patients. Bullying approach. Vacation time is truly not vacation time. People were not appreciated for what they did and the company was more involved in expanding instead of promoting the well being of their employees. Morale decreased, salaries were not the same across the board for managers or for the staff. Career opportunities: 0 Compensation/benefits: 0 work/life bal: 0 expected to do your work when you come back from your vacation or find someone to cover you. This is a management position.
