Pros
ChenMed has a great family-focused environment. It's great being part of such an innovative company. The benefits are good (free basic insurance for singles is one option) and paid time off is average. As a corporate employee, I appreciate a flexible working environment and can work from home occasionally. Related to this, I appreciate having some autonomy and being enabled to make decisions. Overall, it's been a great experience so far.
Cons
Family-run businesses have just as many cons as more corporate businesses. At ChenMed, some business decisions are made because "that's the way they're done" but, generally speaking, there is a reason.
