      Large company with a small company 'feel'; great safety culture and commitment to improve; listens to feedback from employees and responds; many opportunities to support the local community outside of work; tremendous growth opportunities

      At times, good intentions run ahead of capability to deliver; some pockets in the organization can be slow to embrace company initiatives

      Pros

      The people in research groups are excellent. At every level, you will find technical experts who are excited to share their knowledge and help each other succeed. Interesting and exciting projects to work on (when they aren't being killed by the business groups). Great place to start a career. Good salary, 9/80s, benefits.

      Cons

      No interest or incentives for upper business management to develop and support a long term vision/plan. They occupy positions for a year or two at most and take their promotions and leave. Not compatible with new product development. Largely flat organization with career opportunities for chemical engineers only. Everyone else has limited/no career development or progression opportunities.

      Pay, benefits, work hours, good coworkers who want the same things in life, supportive like minded coworkers, hard working coworkers who pull their weight.

      Cons

      Told every move to make, not allowed to have any input in decision making. Puts on a mask in the community, but doesn't help their own.
