      Pros

      For its industry, CPChem is a smaller company and is extremely profitable as it produces incredible amounts of product. Opportunities for Engineers here are abundant as they continue to grow at a very fast pace. 9/80 schedule is great.

      Cons

      The growth and retirement of baby-boomers could present issues later in the knowledge handover. The pay is above average but not as good as come of its competitors. They lose some young employees simply for higher salaries attained at other jobs...this doesn't need to happen.

      Pros

      Pay, benefits, work hours, good coworkers who want the same things in life, supportive like minded coworkers, hard working coworkers who pull their weight.

      Cons

      Told every move to make, not allowed to have any input in decision making. Puts on a mask in the community, but doesn't help their own.

      Cons

      - Management ( very much a club ) - No room for advancement. Expect to stay in current role for at least a decade if not Chem E - Rating system is antiquated. If you have a company full of stand up talent then it should be rewarded and recognized as a whole not only in bonus but in raises and rankings.
