No success for technical engineers

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Nice focus on work life balance, diversity and inclusion efforts.

Cons

It sucks being a technical engineer. this company is run by a bunch of project managers and PowerPoint engineers. Being good at engineering means little here. We're all about making some presentations and include some catchy taglines and bragging.

The good, bad, and ugly

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Competitive salary and benefits that include pension. Great work culture. People are friendly and are truthful in their adherence to 'Chevron Way'

Cons

IT management is grossly incompetent. Route to promotion is very subjective. More emphasis on networking than expertise. Not recommended for the Gen Z'ers/Millennials.
