Pros

Above average pay and benefits. A good company to work for. They have an excellent retirement program and supportive company culture.

Cons

Remote locations and schedules that can make it hard to balance family life. This isn't a per diem job so expect for a big chunk of the income to go to overblown living expenses in the midland area.

Pros

Good opportunity to learn new processes, develop new skills, and understand a systematic approach to problem solving.

Cons

Some times it feels like you cant go to the rest room without your supervisor approval, the structure is very military style, and this can limit ones autonomy. It also makes it more difficult for experienced hires to feel like their contributions are valued.
