      Worst environment I have ever worked in. Inadequate leadership at its best.

      Pros

      Industry leader in the Upstream market. Very profitable. Great work-life balance schedule. Extremely safety oriented. Invests in learning/training opportunities for its employees. Competitive compensation. Good bonus and 401K plan.

      Cons

      Frequently promotes individuals based on who they like vs. performance, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities. Does not value diversity (race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, culture, personality, etc.) as it claims...the corporation overall (especially certain regions and business units) is a "Good Ole Boy" company and does nothing to change it. Places individuals with poor interpersonal skills, inadequate knowledge/credentials/experience, of unethical character, and/or who do not possess the necessary qualities of a leader, into leadership positions.

      Pros

      Challenging opportunities, projects and personal growth potential. They really care about their employees and provide the benefits and support systems to back it up. Excellent processes for framing projects and opportunities. A diverse range of challenging assignments are available. Great processes for employee recognition.

      Cons

      It's large company and tends to be somewhat bureaucratic, but that typical of large companies.

      Pros

      They take excellent care of their employees and exercise work life balance heavily. Safety is a top priority for any company but it doesn't compare to the safety here.

      Cons

      I honestly can not think of any cons working here. The company has employees that are genuinely good people and it shows.
