Pros

Very qualified people working all around you . Great cross functional engagement. Measured decision making process. Vision and leadership of Top management is clear and inspiring. Great benefits and sensible employee policies

Cons

Finance management has a number of politically posturing people. Folks on the MBA program (limited to US employees ) are given plum positions and faster career growth at the expense of others. Experience outside of Chevron is ignored for jobs and career growth. Very top heavy style of management

Pros

Work-life balance. Ergonomics. Safety-first philisophy. High-paying (in the Philippines). Nice office environment. Not so stressful. Low attrition (in the Philippines). Gives importance to diversity.

Cons

Things move slowly sometimes. Everything is dependent on oil prices. Very strict due to importance on safety.
