Pros

Benefits- healthcare that is. Large corporation.

Cons

No assistance in PMP processes. Managers- Supervisors don't really care if your happy with company or not. All their concerned with is getting the job done or worse case scenario a warm body in place.

Pros

Good pay & benefits. Way better than other oil companies. Safety is first. Not really a hard job.

Cons

Shiftwork. Mandatory overtime. Everything computerized unadvantageously. Too many layers of management. Communication could be much improved. Training is basic & not ongoing.

Pros

Good pay and benefits, company-funded retirement program, very good 401K, opportunities for seeking various positions (theoretically speaking).

Cons

Focus is on the upstream business with recent significant reductions in the downstream work force. Shifting management priorities and internal focus on bureacracy and satisfying internal metrics versus the bigger picture items creates frustration and inefficiencies.
