If you like dodging accountability, good pay, and don't mind layoffs every 5 years... great company

Cons

Zero innovation Minimal actual engineering performed Rewards tricks and behaviors that give the appearance that you are accomplishing something Coorporate shift to offshore as many roles as they can to take advantage of engineers willing to work for $35k USD equivalent

9/80 hybrid schedule 3days in office

Cons

combination of outsourcing to lower cost geographies, pending layoffs, and HQ move out of California leaves no career opportunities unless you live in a lower cost geography. positions at all levels and functions are impacted- look at job postings at Chevron and Exxon to see your future. company performance is poor and the company is desperate to cut costs
