NONE. Chevron is highly corrupt and would not recommend my worst enemy to waste their valuable time here.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, terrible culture, stuffy environment, leadership practices corrupt, hiring practices corrupt, business dealings corrupt.

Pros

Worked in Mid-continent for a few years in Midland, Texas. Good people, great learning opportunities and plenty of work. Not a desirable town, but a good stepping stone. Younger engineers were rather entitled, but the worst were moved on. Pay is good and bonus is excellent.

Cons

GOM business unit is a disgrace. If you aren't from NOLA area, you are despised and hounded at every opportunity. They literally have cameras, microphones and staff continuously watching for opportunities to persecute you. Its run like a grade school with bullies in charge. They monopolize your personal time with a terrible offshore travel system and the mid level supervisors will use you to make themselves look good.
