Pros

Hours were flexible and could usually work around any conflict we had

Cons

Management on many levels wasn't able to help the staff. We were usually the enemy to both our customers and our higher-ups.

Pros

Decent pay for a manager with no experience. Moved up from serving, no shift lead position in between. Excellent training program in Sacramento. Live there for 11 weeks. OK benefits. Excellent discounts.

Cons

Huge changes - corporate did not listen to customer feedback when implementing these changes. Constant changes in corporate structure due to buy outs. As soon as stuff is on board with one change, throw it out and replace with another. 55 hour work week theoretically, 70 hours easy in practice.

Apathetic management

Pros

Flexible schedules. Easy to advance to other positions (not really management, but other positions slightly better than your current).

Cons

Management does not care. At all. They avoid talking to customers and only care about labor costs and food costs cuz that's what their bosses care about.
