Pros

It pays well for the industry. There is ample room for promotion if you want it.

Cons

The $17/hr is not completely true. You only get the $17/hr pay if you have full open availability. This is different from simply being a full time employee. If you have any sort of schedule restriction (regular appointments, activities, etc), you will only get $13.50/hr compensation. It doesnt matter if you work 40+ hours a week. They will work open availability people to the point of quitting. I've witnessed people break down crying in the back from arthritis pain, and they couldnt leave because that would require a doctor's note.
