I have Flexible scheduling on inpatient units.

Cons

Too many competencies to keep up with as a nurse. New Cigna insurance is bad.

Great facility but no room for growth.

Pros

I work the over night shift and there's a Laid-back atmosphere, with some good people, great benefits, beautiful facility and location.

Cons

There has been a cut in shift differentials, limited overtime, too many Sr. Management, ridiculous policies on personal appearance and dress, the type of patients and parents we cater to can be difficult in this area of DFW.

Pros

Benefits are pretty good - retirement, etc.

Cons

As in all large corporations, there are the 'usual' big machine hoops to jump through, especially If/when trying to order something (at least on the IT side of the house). Clinical side may be different.
