Pros

The departments I have worked under have been accommodating and do their best to keep people as employees. Big on inclusion.

Cons

Not all departments are as flexible or accommodating depending on management and the need.

Pros

great compensation, especially for night shift. our night differentials are high. Staff is generally nice, very helpful. Shift bonuses are really great, but they changed it to where PRN staff are no longer eligible to pick up these bonus shifts. bonuses range from 216-400$ per shift

Cons

As a CRT tech you are often (almost always) assigned as a safety assistant; you will get beat up by children and you cannot defend yourself in anyway or else you will be fired. If you are a male CRT tech you will often be preassigned to aggressive male patients nearly every shift if there is one in the hospital. Winter bonus plan payouts are skimpy for techs.
