Hard Work but Decent Program

Pros

1. You learn how to cook and prepare food 2. Established program to become kitchen manager, service manager, and etc. 3. Plenty of free food and discounts

Cons

1. High expectations, there's a time you're expected to finish all cooking by and it's not very lenient 2. Managers will call you out in front of the team 3. A lot of stress -- often my restaurant was understaffed so everybody was running around

Pros

you really become a family with the people you work with and are really close with everyone. A good portion of everyone hangs out together outside of work too.

Cons

If you don't have good management then you will not enjoy your job as much. some people just aren't fit to be a manager.

Pros

Lots of positive reinforcement. Everyone has each other's back. Everyone is working towards a common goal.

Cons

Lots of multitasking. Expectations are high and sometimes seem unrealistic. Fast paced, often short staffed making crew members feel overwhelmed.
