Pros

The environment is very team oriented, with all stores trying to attain "Restaurateur" status. This essentially means the store is lead by an elite GM. Though this mostly creates a great environment, it often overshadows the actual responsibility of running the restaurant.

Cons

Since the e. coli outbreak Chipotle has gone crazy trying to win customers back and create a safer kitchen. Unfortunately, this has created a lot more work for employees and made simple tasks very tedious. Upon starting a shift, you have to be examined for 'symptoms' and constantly have to show people how to properly wash your hands. It is often more like working in a doctor's office than a restaurant.

Pros

Management at your own pace (if your liked and do well with people) 50k salary Tuition Reimbursement of 90%

Cons

Since ecoli break out there has been a definit change in the priorities of the company,as to be expected, but the employees are being put very last. Development has been put on hold, store visits from upper management are less frequent and if you are not favored you will not make it out of a crew level. When questions are asked they are answered indirectly (as if they are trying to not incriminate themselves by doing the simplest thing of saying yes or no)

Pros

company has great intentions. Food is truly gmo free and the main goal is to change the way people see fast food. Environment allows for you to really bond with your co workers and it truly is like a family. Monty. Monty is a pro. love that guy.

Cons

everyone below apprentice level is underpaid. Almost a cult like mentality that leads you to push yourself way past the breaking point. most people quit for that reason. Never been at a store where someone below GM level was happy with how things are run which makes sense since they make 60,000+.Most people who work for chipotle have cried at least once if not more than once while working for the company.
