Pros

good starting pay paid breaks free meals on breaks 50% off meals when you aren't working extremely fast paced always something to do

Cons

HORRIBLE TRAINING! Literary on my first day, walked in and was put on the line, after about 7 minutes of watching someone do it, your on your own. Told me their was 2 days of training, but was proven wrong. No training what so ever. Managers are always nagging if your just standing around, however, if the right training was provided, and I actually knew what I was suppose to do, it wouldn't of been an issue. Was scheduled to cash the next day with no training on a cash register what so ever, and was told to try and watch the cashier do his job. How pathetic! Needs to train their employees more! Be aware, they will definately throw you on the front line on the busiest days and see if you can handle it with little training.

Pros

Free Chipotle...there is the potential for growth within the company. Philosophy for people culture and food culture have flaws but make sense in a perfect world

Cons

Chipotle becomes your life...scheduled 50 hours but you work no less than 60. While there is lots of opportunity to get to the GM position...that is your death sentence if you cant get past it. Only way you can get past it is to be in good with your higher ups and even then I only saw 2 promotions past GM in 2 years...2000 people in the market being told they can "move up" but only 2 make it? Not really much of an opportunity when you break it down...not to mention that every GM over those 2 years was fired and more than half of their replacements were fired

Pros

The free meals when you have time to get them. The paid breaks if you get one. Opening hours are good.

Cons

Over worked, under paid. Changing hours mid week and not Saying anything. Promises of management, taking hear say instead of facts. Favoritism. If you are over 29 don't waist your time.
