Pros

Good benefits, competitive pay. If you are lucky enough to get in with a good manager or director, it can be a decent place to work.

Cons

Over the last few years many long time employees have left the company due to bad business decisions made by entrenched senior level executives. Everyone from manager level down changes out every 1-2 years now while the same bad senior executives are still there with and likely will be forever. Nepotism is rampant in upper levels. The projects the company has taken on are worthwhile but in general the current employees lack hotel industry knowledge and will likely have a hard time being successful in the coming future.

One of the best amenities of being a Choice Hotel employee is the employee discounts. You get tremendous employee discounts at any Choice Hotel in the world! Another great thing about working for Choice Hotels is the potential to advance in the company. There are training modules online that you can take, at your convenience, that will help you advance in the company. Online training modules are available to help employees improve on their current position with the possibility of advancement.

Cons

I really don't have any cons about Choice Hotels. I think its a great place to work.
