      Pros

      Salary and benefits were very good and comparable to larger energy companies. Work schedule was very accommodating with a hybrid schedule available if allowed by your position.

      Cons

      The merger of Oasis and Whiting was tough, and one company culture (Chord Energy) didn't develop easily. There was a lot of heritage company holdover. Hopefully some of the recent senior leadership changes will change this.

      Very flexible scheduling. Adequate pay. Good benefits

      Communication is sometimes lacking. Understaffed so everyone is burning the wick at both ends
