Somewhat of a laid back environment, opportunity to learn on the job.
Cons
No upward mobility. Everyone on the design team was hired with the same title, and promotions were given based on number of years, not merit. This didn’t promote an atmosphere that encouraged good work. The design team is under the marketing department, but was called consistently to do work for the developers. It felt like it should be it’s own department, but no one wanted to do the work to reorganize.
