      Pros

      Magnet recognition Excellent benefits State of the art technology Impressive reputation regionally Impressive national recognition for the Helen F Graham Cancer Center as well as for many teams throughout the hospital.

      Cons

      FMLA abuse is poor for the moral of those who must pick up the slack. Horizontal violence is always an issue

      The hospital and its employees really about their patients and their community We are a technologically advanced hospital system and provide excellent care to our patients We strive to be and ARE a Great Place to Work

      Cons

      Development in non-medical positions is slow and managers need to learn how to develop their people. People are too used to the status quo. They tend to do things because "they always have" and not because it's the best way to do them

      Pros

      They have Medical & Dental insurance from Day 1, Credit Union, Tax Shelter Annuity plans, Pension plan, Cash out pay on hours.

      Cons

      You're expected to work nights, weekends, holidays in some departments. Have to work on snow days. Work hours/shifts aren't always great. Have to ask co-workers to switch with you when day off is needed. Human Resources doesn't help employees much.
