There are multiple opportunities to work with departments throughout the organisation, giving an invaluable insight into how they operate which in turn strengthens relationships. There are many apprentice events which enable you to network and meet likeminded people.

Cons

If you are the only apprentice in your department, there is scope for being overlooked especially in a fast-paced environment. However, you quickly learn how to take initiative and know how best to assert yourself. The incredible experience you gain outweighs this, however.
