Career progression is still an uphill battle for many female professionals
Pros
Fair compensation and benefits, large company but still opportunity to get things done relatively quickly relative to other companies, very focused and driven in their approach to business and new initiatives. Support for causes and communities.
Cons
Many women can get ahead only so far and then have to make personal sacrifices - hire a nanny or hope your partner can pick up the slack. Chubb leadership tends to value male traits in leadership style and self promotion and this also holds some women back despite claiming to be equal-opportunity employer. They tend to hire from outside for senior roles rather than promote from within. The culture is intense - work harder to solve most problems. Limited support from non core insurance functions - training, finance, communications, etc.
