Pros

Solid pay and decent benefits

Cons

There are too many “leaders” so associates are getting mixed messages from all directions instead of a cohesive and consistent approach to claims and compliance issues. The technology issues are incredibly frustrating and make an already impossible work load even more difficult to manage. There is an unfounded aversion to remote employment and we have lost multiple good employees due to management’s refusal to grant remote positions. There is a lot of turnover now. Customers and brokers are expressing their awareness of the service issues that have become inevitable since the acquisition. They kept the name “Chubb” for the brand but the very principles and approaches to claims adjudication that built the brand are being rejected. The morale is so low it’s palpable and is definitely not going to be attractive to talented new hires for long.
