Pros

If you work in the right dept with a good boss and good people, you will be happy regardless if job position.

Cons

Corporate politics is everywhere, hard to stay out of it. Company promotes work life balance, but doesn't seem to readily give it.

Pros

Great workplace. Depending on your unit / department there is a lot of flexibility, including telecommuting one or more days a week. The company provides generous time off, decent benefits, and management support for continued professional development. There are also many opportunities to team build either in community service activities or social activities within the company.

Cons

There are two cons that stand out. The first is compensation. The bonus structure is decent, but still fairly weak compared to other companies In the industry. Overall compensation is ok. The second problem is career advancement. Someone pretty much has to either die, retire, or quit for an internal promotion opportunity to open up.
