Pros

I can pay my rent

Cons

My life. Overworked and under-appreciated. By far the worst company I've seen. Nobody values you and the superiors only care for themselves. People are required to work the typical 8 hour shifts, but expected to work 10+ to get the job done. I will never be employed with someone like this again.

Pros

Fairly solid reputation in industry

Cons

Yesterday, the co shared that they would like us to RTO in 2 weeks. This messaging is totally different from what the messaging has been since COVID. I love Chubb, but it seem tone deaf that in a middle of a global pandemic with no therapeutics, no vaccine, schools closed or not operating at normal to tell employees you have until 9/14 to get back in. If you need dependent care find it! What a wonderful message to people who may already be struggling as a single parent and trying to balance distance learning, work and running a home. Nowadays, one just doesn’t “find dependent care”, after school programs are not operating, day cares are limited and neighbors/ friends are social distancing. I am utterly disgusted

Pros

The really are only 2 pros. The benefits are pretty good and the fact that you can work from home ONE day a week.

Cons

There are so many, where to begin. There is no communication for when things change from your managers. You will hear how things have changed from other managers or other people that you work for, before hearing it from management. You'll need to ask them about it first as well. Daily duties, are constantly changing. They will tell you that it is temporary, it is not. You will end up "helping" other departments because they do not sill open positions when your department has been reduced to the bare bones. I am doing the work of 5 people, and we are a staff of 2. Managers: don't expect anything from them. They don't stick up for you or have your back in regards to anything that you do. They tell you too that they will help you advance, this is a lie!! I have told my manager that I'd lime to advance on numerous occasions, and yet I am still in the same position.
