Pros
High performing company, financially stable, access to management, anyone with a good idea can make a contribution
Cons
No mobility, company is extremely lean. Many are stuck in the same position for countless years. There is no career path. Pay is low and you are asked to perform a role that is usually 1 or 2 grade levels higher at another company with much higher pay. HR says they pay competitively but they are just comparing titles, not the actual work being performed. Senior HR mgmt. has no clue of the actual work being performed. They are aloof. This is not an employee oriented company. Senior mgmt. views employees as cost centers. Goal is to cut your benefits, provide the lowest pay possible, and take away any little perk that made your day just a little better. The culture is dated. Senior Mgmt is resistant to change and focused on the stock price and nothing else. Functions are not aligned on goals making it very difficult to accomplish value added projects. Senior mgmt. needs to retire to allow this company to prosper. Current model is not sustainable. This is a company with a great history and so much potential if they would just modernize their thinking and put employees first. I wish them well.
