If you like horse racing this is the place to work. It is fun and exciting during the seasons.

Cons

During the off-season it is difficult to stay busy and continue to be motivated. There is times when you will sit around all day and do completely nothing.

Pros

There is a great team of people that work here. Derby is an exciting (and exhausting) time of year.

Cons

The company does not promote from within. I don't feel they truly value their employees. It's a great place to work for a couple of years but don't plan on climbing the corporate ladder here. Management is out of touch. Working every weekend for 4+ months a year is tough on home life. Derby is exhausting and you'll work so much you don't even have time to enjoy it.
